We're pleased to introduce you to the experts at Leon & Co. From the beginning of their tenure at the salon, all stylists are specially trained in the French cutting techniques heralded by the worldÕs finest stylists. Since education is of utmost importance, everyone regularly participates in various training opportunities across the country. In addition, Leon often brings some of the most respected names in the industry to Belmont to conduct hair workshops at the salon.

Without a doubt, your head is in the most capable hands at Leon & Co.

Taylor Nurse
Taylor, a Waltham, Massachusetts native, has been with Leon and Company since 2004. She is a Master Colorist and certified to use our newest service, Hairdreams Hair Extension System. She performs cuts, colors and relaxers daily, and always gives her clients fresh new looks. Her enthusiasm for the hair style profession is reflected through her positive energy and in her classy cutting style. Taylor enjoys attending hair shows and makes it her priority to keep up with the latest trends. When not at work, Taylor loves to go out with friends and enjoys the Boston nightlife.

Sheila Perry
A true talent with 15 years under her belt, Sheila has worked her entire career at Leon & Co. She is a native of Lexington, Massachusetts, and has been recognized nationally in Allure magazine for her expertise in color, highlights, and color corrections. Sheila has developed a specialty in all aspects of hair coloring, from single process to multi-level process and highlights. She is exceptional at her job because she enjoys communicating with clients, getting a firm understanding of their lifestyles, and making recommendations that fit each person individually. Her passion outside of the salon is spending time with her family and summers in New Hampshire.

JayDee Ferrara
The most senior member of Leon's team, JayDee has been a fixture at Leon & Co. for more than 20 years. She has been in the beauty business for 27 years, has a degree as an esthetician, and has attended countless specialty hair training clinics. Early in her career, JayDee was chosen for advanced color training with London's esteemed colorist, Daniel Galvin. She also participated in the first years of the prestigious trade event, Hair Color USA and was named, "Up and Coming Hair Colorist" in 1989 and 1990. Self magazine named JayDee as one of the country's top color artists in 1998.

A Waltham, Massachusetts native, JayDee performs cuts and color, and is a whiz in all aspects of coloring, from single-process to three-tone highlighting to color correction. She is certified to use the Hairdreams® Hair Extension System, and is one of the two staff members formally trained in California Highlighting. JayDee enjoys the instant gratification her work brings to both her clients and herself.

Colleen Kelley
Colleen is a Master Colorist and has been working at Leon and Company for over 2 years. She stays on top of the latest styles and trends to give you the upscale look you've come to expect from Leon and Company. Colleen's passion for the industry is mirrored in her artistic flair to take runway looks and adapt them to fit her clients' daily hairstyling needs like creating the perfect up-do or generating a sexy wavy look for that special evening out. In addition, Colleen is certified to use Hairdreams¨ Hair Extension System and Inspire, Wella's first true personal hair color technique.

Hamid Khoury
A native of Morocco, Hamid has worked with Leon for over 4 years and has been a resident of the U.S. for over a decade. He is a graduate of the Blaine Academy and performs cuts, color, highlights, and blow dries. Hamid is certified to use the Hairdreams® Hair Extension System and Inspire, Wella's first true personal hair color technique. He has developed a reputation as an expert colorist and enjoys the day-to-day creative outlet of his profession. Hamid also regularly travels with Leon to contribute his styling expertise for beauty and fashion photo shoots. When not at work, Hamid loves all sports, and is an epic Boston Red Sox fan! He also enjoys fishing in Maine.

Dimitri Papadopoulos
A native of Athens, Greece, Dimitri has been with Leon & Co. 11 out of his 20 career years beautifying men and women in the Boston area. Dimitri moved to the United States in the early 1970's and initially used his creative talent in the furniture business alongside a fellow Greek, who was also a hairdresser. Through his friend, Dimitri became fascinated with the hair industry and soon learned the trade for himself.

Dimitri is a true professional who loves his trade and working with people. He performs cuts, color and perms, and is one of four staff members who is certified to use Inspire, Wella's first true personal hair color technique. When not at work, Dimitri loves to spend time with his beloved English setter, Gioia, and enjoys fly fishing, book collecting and following the stock market.

Fulya Hickey
Fulya, a native of Turkey, has been with Leon since the spring of 2000. She has a degree from Blaine Beauty School and prior salon work in her native country before moving to Massachusetts. Fulya knows all aspects of the trade and she especially enjoys cutting and highlights which provide the ultimate outlet for her creative talents. Fulya is is certified to use Hairdreams® Hair Extension System and Inspire, Wella's first true personal hair color technique.

A resident of Waltham, Massachusetts, Fulya is a fan of all things stylish and enjoys dancing (including belly dancing) reading, movies, travel and fashion.

Genny Roberts
A Stoneham, Massachusetts native, Genny has worked at Leon & Co. for nearly 20 years, making her mark as one of the salon's most senior stylists. After graduating from Blaine Academy, she worked briefly in Brookline before joining Leon de Magistris in 1987. Genny is a creative force and is terrific with cuts and perms. She is renowned for her expert work with updo's of all kinds – earning her the glowing reputation as "The Updo Queen." Getting married? Genny can perform her magic at the salon or on site.

Genny loves the hair business because she gets to make people feel good about themselves and the way they look. She is a working mom with two children who loves to spend time with her family and pursue other creative outlets such as gardening and cooking.

Jennifer Naples
Jennifer, a Belmont, Massachusetts native, has been beautifying hair for over 15 years. A graduate of Blaine Academy, with eight plus years at Leon & Co., she is constantly taking advantage of educational opportunities to maintain her professional edge and stay current with the most innovative styles and color trends. Jennifer has demonstrated styling techniques for Intercoiffure, the premiere trade organization for stylists worldwide. She has also contributed her talents to numerous fashion shows and magazine layouts. Jennifer is one of two staff members specially trained in applying California Highlights and is recognized as an expert colorist. Her ability to listen and communicate with clients allows her to achieve fantastic results.

Jennifer loves skiing in the winter and boating in the summer at her family home on Cape Cod.

Kristin Collins
Now a senior hair stylist, Kristin began her career at Leon & Co. over seven years ago as Leon's personal assistant. Working side by side with Leon provided Kristin with a unique perspective into the art of hair expression, and what it takes to be a successful stylist. Her experience as a model in New York and Boston fuels Kristin's creative edge and exposed her early on to the world of fashion and style. She instills this unique knowledge into her current work – texturing, cutting, and styling.

Kristin loves the Boston nightlife and is the girl to ask about what's hot on the Boston scene.

Amanda Ortiz
Amanda joined the Leon & Co. team in 2006. Leon saw exceptional ability in Amanda and took her under his wing as one of the salon's junior stylists.

Creativity is the at the founcation of everything that Amanda does in her life. She loves to draw and brings her creative energy to her hair styling.

Sandra Rauckyte
Sandra began her career in 1997 in Siauliai, Lithuania. She moved to Boston when she was 19 years old and shortly thereafter acquired her cosmetology license. Sandra's passion for hair and fashion motivates her to keep up with current trends so that she can consistently create the newest styles and special effect colors available. She is seasoned in European cutting, styling, color and up-do’s. Sandra takes pride in listening to her clients' needs and in giving them a style that suits them. "It is rewarding to see my clients smile when I’m finished," she says.

Sandra is certified to use Inspire, Wella's personal hair color technique. When Sandra is not working she enjoys the warm weather, especially South Beach.
